Grease or Greece

Let’s get a grip here. Just when we thought that we were out of the woods and heading toward recovery, the Greek debt crisis reared its ugly head and global markets shuddered. I’m afraid that we are not quite out of the woods, and the repercussions of the global economic condition may still stall the US recovery. But the good news is, for us real estate types, that the United States is viewed, by most offshore investors, as a safe-haven for investment opportunities. Ergo, the European debt crisis, and the distress in other foreign lands, will increasingly focus investment activity back here in the US of A. That’s good news for investment brokers in the core US markets. You say tomato, I say tomah-to.
