MCLEAN, VA-Freddie Mac has appointed Jerry Weiss, a company insider, as chief administrative officer, a newly created post. Weiss currently holds the post of chief compliance officer and will continue to hold this position also. His new position will require him to manage human resources and external relations.
Weiss currently serves as Freddie Mac's liaison to the U.S. Department of the Treasury and the Federal Housing Finance Agency and also manages the company's regulatory affairs. For the full story, go to The New York Times.
