DALLAS-A plan to replace the St. Paul hospital with an $800 million hospital in the UT Southwestern Medical Center campus has been approved by the University of Texas System Board of Regents.

The proposal includes a 1.3 million square-foot hospital with 424 beds, 40 emergency rooms, a helipad, 24 operating units, and a parking garage with space for 450 cars.
