DALLAS-Construction work to build the largest room in Omni Hotels & Resorts' biggest inn, the Omni Dallas Hotel, is in progress. The $500 million downtown Dallas hotel will be the fourth convention center hotel for Omni Hotels & Resorts, an Irving-based firm.

This 23-story building will include an 80,000-square foot meeting space and 1,001 guest rooms. The Omni Dallas Hotel is scheduled to open in January 2012. For the full story, go to The Dallas Morning News.
