BALTIMORE-St. John Properties has inked a lease with Royal Farmsto build a 5,86-square-foot convenience store within the RetailVillage component of Baltimore Crossroads@95, a mixed-use businesscommunity close to the White Marsh submarket. Construction of theRoyal Farms retail building is expected to begin spring 2011, witha targeted opening in fall 2011.

The Retail Village has been targeting retail that would supportthe employees working within Baltimore Crossroads@95. These includerestaurants, soft good retailers, business services andgeneral-interest merchants.

All together, more than five million square feet of commercialoffice space is planned for the 1,100-acre, mixed-use businesscommunity, including several full-service hotels and offices formore than 10,000 employees. Royal Farm’s store will be located on ahighly visible location along MD Route 43, according to Jerry Wit,SVP for St. John Properties.
