BALTIMORE-The eight-story, 36-unit apartment tower named theCongress Hotel at 306 W. Franklin St. on the west side of Baltimorehas been sold in a foreclosure auction for $2.35 million to thelender of the building, Congress Financial LLC.

The owner of the tower, Kernan Apartments lost the property toforeclosure in February 2010 when it defaulted on a $7.2 millionloan. The owner owes $2.8 million as debt to the lender.For the full story, go to Baltimore Business Journal.
