HANOVER, MD-French luxury luggage company Delsey Luggage is taking 186,053 square feet of bulk distribution space here as it combines its operations from two buildings into one. The company is moving to the

Preston Gateway Corporate Park, a four-building one-million-square-foot corporate distribution park here. Delsey is taking space in a 300,498-square-foot building located at 6090 Dorsey Rd. It will move from its current facilities at 6735 and 6725 Business Parkway in Elkridge, MD next year.

Delsey only trimmed the space it was using slightly with the new lease, Mike Roden, a vice president with CB Richard Ellis, tells GlobeSt.com. It currently occupies 192,000 square feet. Roden represented Delsey in the transaction. “This was an opportunity for the company to take advantage of the market and move to equal or better space and have all of their operations under one roof,” he relates.

Preston Gateway is owned by a Prudential LLC called Piney Run Rock I. Built in 2007, it is a class A front park, rear load warehouse distribution center. Delsey Luggage joins Oceaneering International as the second tenant in the building.  There is approximately 100,000 square feet left in the park, spread across two buildings, according to Roden.
