GREENWICH, CT-Tom Ashforth has been tapped to head the new Greenwich, CT office of Transwestern, marking the company’s continuing expansion in the northeast. As GlobeSt.com previously reported, Houston-based Transwestern opened a New York City office earlier this year, headed by Patrick Robinson.
Ashforth had most recently served as senior vice president of investments at the Ashforth Co., where he worked to develop the company’s east coast acquisition program.
The Greenwich location will offer investment services to buyers and sellers of commercial real estate in wealthy Fairfield and Westchester counties.
“All of us at Transwestern embrace this exciting expansion into Connecticut, which will continue the growth and success we have achieved across the country and be a new source of real estate value for our northeast clients,” Ashforth said in a prepared statement about his appointment. “It is our goal to introduce the Fairfield and Westchester counties real estate communities to Transwestern’s regional and national capabilities.”
