
NEW YORK CITY-At most seven offers were made last week for a 45-story office tower at 1211 Sixth Ave. in Midtown. Bids were made by some of the biggest real estate firms, including Vornado Realty Trust, Tishman Speyer, SL Green Realty Corp. and Boston Properties.
Boston-based Beacon Capital Partners purchased the 2-million-square-foot building for nearly $1.5 billion in 2006. The company listed the property in June for more than $1.8 billion.
