ST. CHARLES, IL-A $28.5 million foreclosure lawsuit has been filed against Pheasant Run Resort, a 473-room resort located in St. Charles. The ownership of the 250-acre resort is in discussion with the loan servicer CWCapital LLC for the modification of the mortgage worth $28.5 million. The resort failed to repay its loan payments from April 2011. CWCapital offered the loan worth $29 million to the ownership in 2006.

Pheasant Run comprises a 100,000-square-foot meeting area, a comedy club and a 36-hole golf course. For the full story, go to Crain's Chicago Business .
