WINTER PARK, FL-Construction work is about to start on the new five-story inn at Rollins College. The Winter Park Commission approved Alfond Inn at Rollins, a 112-room property at 300 New England Ave., on September 28.
The $20-million project will also include an 8,000-square-foot meeting/ballroom space, a restaurant/bar and on-site parking space. It is expected to be completed in summer 2013. The general contractor of the project is Orlando-based Hardin Construction Co. LLC and the architecture is Orlando-based Baker Barrios Architects Inc.
