
WASHINGTON, DC-The Washington Post has reported that InterContinental Hotels Group and Carr Hospitality LLC have planned to construct a four-star hotel containing 268 rooms as part of a redevelopment of the District's Southwest waterfront. Carr Hospitality is negotiating with Madison Marquette and PN Hoffman Inc. to purchase the site situated near Water and Ninth streets SW.
