
NEW YORK CITY-According to familiar sources, several bidders have presented their tenders for the right to revitalize Willets Point. The Related Companies and Sterling Equities have joined forces to present a proposal for the redevelopment of the 12.7-acre site included in the first phase of the Queens Project. Developer Silverstein Properties has also submitted its bid.
The first phase of the three-phase project calls for a 400-unit mixed-income housing, 387-room hotel and 680,000-square-foot of space for retail. For the full story, go to Crain's New York Business .
