
CHICAGO-Fifield Cos. of Chicago is planning to start construction on an apartment tower in conjunction with Wood Partners, a national developer. The 34-story tower, called K2, will be constructed on a one-acre plot at 365 N. Halsted St. and it will include 496 units and 348 parking spaces.
Funding for the $175-million development came from a consortium of commercial banks including The Private Bank of Chicago, Bank of the West, Cole Taylor Bank, Comerica Bank and Fifth Third Bank. For the full story, go to Commercial Property Executive .
