Tesco Supermarket Portfolio Changes Hands for GBP 47M

BIRMINGHAM, UK-Legal & General Property has acquired a portfolio of three supermarkets in Quinton, Market Deeping and Ludlow in the Midlands for the Legal & General UK Property Unit Trust.

BIRMINGHAM, UK-Legal & General Property has acquired a portfolio of three supermarkets in Quinton, Market Deeping and Ludlow in the Midlands for the Legal & General UK Property Unit Trust. The company has purchased the three supermarket stores from Tesco Stores Limited for approximately GBP 46.6 million.

The properties are leased to Tesco Stores for 20 years. The size of the properties ranges from roughly 31,000 square feet to 43,000 square feet. The properties are situated near Peterborough and Birmingham. For the full story, go to Europe Real Estate .
