HONOLULU-The state plans to release an invitation for proposals for a developer to construct two residential towers in the Kakaako neighborhood of Honolulu. Pacific Business News has reported that the 690 Pohukaina project will have one skyscraper with 300 affordable units and the other skyscraper with 500 market-priced units.

The project is planned for a plot at 690 Pohukaina St. The second residential tower will reach 650 feet high, almost 250 feet higher than Honolulu's First Hawaiian Center. For the full story, go to Pacific Business News .
