MIAMI BEACH-The Art Deco-style Fairfax Hotel, situated on Collins Avenue along the South Beach strip, will undergo refurbishment.

MIAMI BEACH-The Art Deco-style Fairfax Hotel, situated on Collins Avenue along the South Beach strip, will undergo refurbishment. Led by Heyat Hospitality Group and Levy Family Partners, the property will be converted into a boutique hotel.

The roughly $12-million renovation, expected to start later this month, will comprise a lounge and restaurant as well as a rooftop pool. South Florida-based RCC Associates is the general contractor for the development. A new name and additional details are yet to be announced. For the full story, go to Florida Real Estate Journal .
