Stewart Superabsorbants Signs 142,000-SF Lease in Hickory

HICKORY, NC-Charis Hickory, a Triad investor group, has nearly filled a vacant manufacturing plant spanning 277,000 square feet in Hickory.

HICKORY, NC-Charis Hickory, a Triad investor group, has nearly filled a vacant manufacturing plant spanning 277,000 square feet in Hickory. Stewart Superabsorbants LLC has recently leased 142,000 square feet in Catawba Industrial Commons.

The investor group purchased the old Corning Cable Systems facility in February. Stewart Superabsorbants will move 30 to 35 employees to its Hickory space from Taylorsville. Stuart Nunn of High Point-based RealtyAnalytix Advisors negotiated the lease deal on behalf of the investor group. For the full story, go to Business Journal Serving The Greater Triad Area .
