NEW YORK CITY-Mercedes House, a residential house designed by Enrique Norten, is taking shape over the Mercedes-Benz dealership on the west side of midtown Manhattan. Two Trees Development, owned by David and Jed Walentas, is developing the "80-20" project comprising 864 units.

Construction on Mercedes House started in 2007. The project's first phase, which contains 222 units, was completed in the spring. The remainder of the complex comprising 480 rentals and 162 condominiums is scheduled to be finished next year. For the full story, go to Wall Street Journal .
