
NEW YORK CITY-Average occupancy rate and average annual rent of US shopping centers and malls have improved slightly in Q4 of 2011. Malls in the major 80 US markets reported 9.2% of average vacancy rate. Average yearly rents at US malls increased by 0.3%, while that of strip centers increased by 0.1%.
