QUINCY, MA-The town of Quincy in Massachusetts is moving forward with a historic redevelopment. The Beal Cos. of Boston and Street-Works Development LLC have partnered to redevelop the city's Downtown area.

The two companies will proceed with the $1.6-billion redevelopment of Quincy Center, a 3.5-million-square-foot mixed-use project. The redevelopment will include 1.1 million square feet of office space, two hotels, 700,000 square feet of retail and more than 1,400 residential units.
