NEW YORK CITY-The City Planning Commission has approved Rudin Management's proposed plans to redevelop the St. Vincent's Hospital site into a residential development. The proposed plans call for a condo tower comprising 450 units on Seventh Avenue between West 11th to West 12th streets.

The residential tower will also include five townhouses. The developer will convert O'Toole Building into an emergency-care center and will create a new public elementary school and a 16,500-square-foot public park at the Foundling Hospital. For the full story, go to Crain's New York Business .
