WASHINGTON, DC-Rockpoint Group LLC and MRP Realty will replace the old YWCA building at G and Ninth streets NW with an office structure. The existing 93,553-square-foot structure at 900 G St. NW will be redeveloped into an 112,000-square-foot building.
Rockpoint and MRP formed a joint venture to purchase the property for $21 million in 2010. The new building will have nearly 6,500 square feet of retail space on the ground floor. The project is expected to be completed by mid-2014. For the full story, go to Washington Business Journal .
