Kraus-Anderson Begins Renovation Work on Southdale Center

EDINA, MN-Minneapolis-based Kraus-Anderson Construction Co. has begun renovation work on Southdale Center, a 1.8-million-square-foot regional retail center in Edina.

EDINA, MN-Minneapolis-based Kraus-Anderson Construction Co. has begun renovation work on Southdale Center, a 1.8-million-square-foot regional retail center in Edina. Simon Property Group Inc., the owner of the shopping mall, announced the renovation in September.

The 239,378-square-foot improvement will feature a food court, concourse and entrances as well as new elevators, general mall finishes and stair cores. Construction is expected to start shortly and it will be completed by December. For the full story, go to Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal .
