BALTIMORE-Maryland Live! Casino, a $500 million project scheduled to open this summer, has secured 58,000 square feet at 7270 Park Circle Dr., in the Hanover submarket, for its casino employment center. The casino, which is being developed by the Cordish Cos., was represented by Jarred Testa, Michael Walsh and Tilghman Herring of Cassidy Turley. Ed Harris of CBRE represented the landlord, RREEF Real Estate. The lease is for a warehouse requirement to support the employment center, Walsh tells GlobeSt.com. “It will have a lot of the materials they need to run the facilities on a day to day basis,” he says. “Also, the proximity of the facility to the casino was important to them.”

Located at the Arundel Mills Mall in Anne Arundel County, Maryland Live! Casino will be one of the largest gaming, retail and entertainment destinations in the country. It features 4,750 slot machines and electronic table games, restaurants, retail and a live entertainment venue.

Cordish has also secured a tenant at another development in a separate transaction. Cinemark Theatres has inked a deal as the anchor tenant for a new $85 million entertainment center at the Towson Circle III development, a joint venture between Cordish and Heritage Properties. The retail project will be located in Towson between East Joppa Road, Pennsylvania Avenue and Virginia Avenue. It has a delivery date of Fall 2014. Cordish did not return a call to GlobeSt.com in time for publication.
