
BOSTON-The Saunders Hotel Group is planning to develop a 35-story tower near Copley Square in the Back Bay. The Saunders group is looking to construct a hotel and residential complex on the site of the old John Hancock Hotel & Conference Center.
The developer is planning to seek approval for the complex measuring 400,000 square feet along Stuart Street. Trinity Stuart LLC, the project's joint venture, bought the property in December for $22.6 million. No formal plans for the site have been filed. For the full story, go to Boston Globe .
