
JOLIET, IL-An unfinished retail center in southwest suburban Crest Hill has reached auction block. Bank of America NA has employed Rick Levin & Associates Inc. of Chicago to auction the 43,160-square-foot shopping center at 16501 Weber Road.
The bank foreclosed on the property last September. The minimum bid for the auction is $1.5 million. James P. Gierczyk, a Harvey-based developer, started the Crest Hill project in 2004 and Bank of America commenced the foreclosure process in 2008. For the full story, go to Crain's Chicago Business .
