NEW YORK CITY-A new hotel will rise behind the new retail property on West 34th Street situated between Seventh and Eighth avenues, near Herald Square. The proprietor of the 7,357-square-foot parcel at 218 W. 35th St. is in negotiations with three hotel operators as well as finalizing financing for the development.
Owner 34th Street Penn Association is planning to construct a 28-story hotel with nearly 330 rooms. Final paperwork for the project has not yet been filed with the Buildings Department. For the full story, go to Crain's New York Business .
