
TAMPA, FL-The Grand Hyatt Tampa Bay is planning to complete a $16-million renovation by August. The hotel has hired Dallas-based Looney & Associates to redesign 445 guest rooms.
The renovation also included new fixtures and finishes, bedding and furniture. Hyatt Hotels Corp. sold the hotel in late 2010 for $58.5 million to an investor advised by UBS Global Asset Management's US real estate business.
