
CHICAGO-Bond Cos. has requested city officials for authority to construct a retail and residential complex in the Roosevelt Road shopping corridor. The developer will build the complex between Clinton and Canal.
The proposed plan calls for 444 rental homes, approximately 200,000 square feet of retail space and parking space for 885 cars. Gensler has designed the project. Robert Bond, the development firm's president, stated that if the city approves his zoning request, he will start the project in July. For the full story, go to Chicago Sun Times .
