WASHINGTON, DC-San Diego-based Douglas Wilson Cos. has recently completed two construction projects in Washington, DC. The projects include National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's new home and a 400,000-square-foot office building on Half Street in the Capitol Riverfront District.

Wilson Cos. took over both buildings as receiver following the 2009 bankruptcy filed by Opus East, the original developer. The company worked along with Bank of America, the U.S. General Services Administration and Maryland education and congressional representatives to complete the NOAA project.
