CHESTERFIELD, MO-The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported that two developers are dueling to construct an outlet mall in Chesterfield, a western suburb of St. Louis. Simon Property Group and Taubman Centers are pursuing retail projects along U.S. Highway 40.
On Tuesday when Taubman started clearing its site to build a 450,000-square-foot center, Saks Fifth Avenue's Off 5th stated that it had decided to be an anchor tenant in the proposed 350,000-square-foot project of Simon.
