BROOKFIELD, WI-Von Maur has reached a contract to open a department store in The Corners of Brookfield. The company will take 150,000 square feet in the open-air retail center that will come up on West Blue Mound Road.
Von Maur's two-story store, the first in Wisconsin, will hire 200 people. The department store chain is the anchor tenant in Marcus Corp.'s retail project, which is set to start in June 2013.
