PHILADELPHIA-The Pennsylvania Housing Finance Agency has provided $11 million in funding for a senior housing development in Philadelphia. The fund, which comes as low-income housing tax credits, will allow the LGBT senior housing project to start this fall.
The six-story building will come up on 13th Street between Spruce and Locust streets. The Philadelphia Redevelopment Authority will buy the land for the project, which is being co-developed by Pennrose Properties and the Dr. Manus Hirschfeld Fund. The building will have 56 single-bedroom units. For the full story, go to Philadelphia Business Journal .
