
PHILADELPHIA-Two Philadelphia-based real estate developers have partnered to redevelop an old school in Philadelphia. Orens Brothers Real Estate Inc. and Mosaic Development Partners have teamed up to convert the old Thomas Edison High School at 701 W. Lehigh Ave. into a shopping center and a senior living apartment.
The $11-million project will be named Edison Square and it will comprise 38,000-square-foot retail center and a 56-apartment building meant for low-income seniors. The developers are planning to start construction on May 4. For the full story, go to Philadelphia Business Journal .
