SAN DIEGO-Florida-based Darden Restaurants Inc. is planning to open Seasons 52, a fresh-grill and wine bar restaurant at Westfield UTC in San Diego. The new eatery, which will employ nearly 100 workers, is the first local location for the restaurant operator and it will be opened in spring 2013.
The UTC location will comprise a piano bar and custom-built wine cellar as well as two private dining rooms and a Chef's Table. Westfield UTC, owned by Australia-based Westfield Group, is undergoing a $180-million renovation. For the full story, go to San Diego Business Journal .
