BIRMINGHAM, UK-UK Commercial Property Trust Limited has obtained planning consent for its proposed New Riverside regeneration project in Shrewsbury from Shropshire Council and has inked a pre-lease agreement with Debenhams for a 95,000-squre-foot department store. The proposed plans call for transforming three existing retail centers into a single center.
The GBP 150-million redevelopment will include the razing of the existing center and the construction of a 225,000-square-foot center. Shearer Property Group and Ignis Asset Management are advising UKCPT on the project. For the full story, go to Europe Real Estate .
