SARASOTA, FL-Cincinnati-based Macy's Inc. is constructing a new store in Florida. The department store chain is building its two-story, 160,000-square-foot store at the new Mall at University Town Center in Sarasota.
Macy's is expected to employ nearly 175 workers at the new store. Construction is slated to begin later this year and the store is scheduled to open in fall 2014.
