ALPHARETTA, GA-North American Properties has received approvals to develop a $600-million mixed-use project in Alpharetta in the northern suburb of Atlanta. The project, called Avalon, is expected to be opened in October 2013.
The development will comprise 559,000 square feet of retail; a 175-room boutique hotel and a 300-room full service hotel; a 350,000-square-foot office building, 85,000 square feet of office lofts and a 5,000-square-foot financial department; 250 apartments; 132 townhomes and single-family homes; and 10 acres of public space.
