CHICAGO-Laramar Group, a residential real estate and investment group based in Chicago, is turning the Belden Stratford hotel into an apartment complex with 297 units. The 15-story structure at 2300 N. Lincoln Park West originally contained rental units and hotel rooms.

Laramar took over the Belden Stratford hotel, constructed in 1923, in December. The property is situated in the middle of Lincoln Park, near the Lincoln Park Zoo, Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum, recreational areas and restaurants. For the full story, go to Chicago Tribune .
