Harbor Freight Opens Its First Store in Chicago

CHICAGO-Calabasas, California-based Harbor Freight Tools USA Inc. has opened a new store in Bricktown Square in Chicago's Northwest Side.

CHICAGO-Calabasas, California-based Harbor Freight Tools USA Inc. has opened a new store in Bricktown Square in Chicago's Northwest Side. The company has leased the 20,000-square-foot store at the 277,489-square-foot mall at 6420 W. Fullerton Ave. from Chicago-based Bonnie Investment Group.

Details of the deal were not revealed. The West Fullerton Avenue store is Harbor Freight's first location in the city. Oakbrook Terrace-based Mid-America Asset Management Inc. is leasing the property on behalf of Bonnie Investment. For the full story, go to Crain's Chicago Business .
