MIAMI-Hong Kong-based Swire Properties is planning to start construction on an $800-million-plus hotel, retail and condominium project in downtown Miami.

MIAMI-Hong Kong-based Swire Properties is planning to start construction on an $800-million-plus hotel, retail and condominium project in downtown Miami. The development, named Brickell CitiCentre, will be one of the largest private projects in the city.

Swire bought the land between late 2008 and 2010 for approximately $57 million from multiple property owners. The real estate investor will break ground on the project on Wednesday. For the full story, go to Wall Street Journal .
