ROCKVILLE, MD-Federal Realty Investment Trust has started construction on Pike & Rose, a mixed-use redevelopment of Mid-Pike Plaza. The first phase of the 3.4-million-square-foot mixed-use development will alone create 688 jobs.
Design Collective, WDG Architecture and Streetworks have designed the development. Pike & Rose will feature 1,500 residential units, 1.1 million square feet of office space, 450,000 square feet of retail space and 250,000 square feet of hotel space.
