
AUSTIN, TX-An executive from Cadence McShane Construction reported that construction plans for Apple Inc.'s $300-million enlargement in Austin are on track. Srinath Pai Kasturi from the Austin office of Cadence McShane confirmed that the company was granted the build-to-suit complex in Northwest Austin.
Kasturi said that construction could start in September or October. In late June, McShane Development Co. LLC sold nearly 40 acres of land to Apple. The two 140,816-square-foot office buildings will be occupied and owned by Apple. For the full story, go to Austin Business Journal .
