CHICAGO-The owner of the old Lakeshore Athletic Club structure in Streeterville is planning to transform the building into a residential complex instead of senior housing. A venture of Integrated Development Group LLC has plans to build 200 residential units at 850 N. Lake Shore Drive.

Northbrook-based Integrated purchased the 19-story, 374,000-square-foot building for about $40 million in February 2008 and planned to spend $80 million to build 11 assisted-living units and 128 senior units in the building. For the full story, go to Crain's Chicago Business .
