NASHVILLE-Nashville Post reported that developers of a long-delayed hotel project proposed on a West End Avenue site are planning to break ground on September 1. Clarksville-based Concord Hospitality planned to start construction on the eight-story building towards the end of 2008, but postponed it due to recession.

The project, proposed at the corner of 18th Avenue and West End, will feature 250 hotel rooms, retail, office space and a 300-car parking garage. The estimated cost of the project is $45 million. For the full story, go to Nashville Business Journal .
