PLANO, TX-Construction will start on a new apartment complex in Historic Downtown Plano on August 20. Chicago-based NXT Capital and Franklin, Tennessee-based Southern Land Co. stated that the development will take place at I and 15th avenues.

The $30-million mixed-use project is a partnership between the city of Plano, NXT and Southern Land. It will comprise 9,000 square feet of retail space and 279 apartment units. The project is expected to be completed in 2014. For the full story, go to Dallas Business Journal .
