HOUSTON-GID Development Group, based in Boston, has started construction on The Sovereign, the first building of the Regent Square mixed-use development within the 610 Loop. The Houston Chronicle reported that the new 21-story apartment tower is situated off Allen Parkway.
The project will feature a 24-hour valet parking, 24-hour concierge services, a pet-friendly park and pet spa areas. Last month, General Investment & Development Cos., the parent of GID, renewed five sign permits for the site with the city. For the full story, go to Houston Business Journal .
