HOUSTON-The office groundbreaking for Energy Tower III, a new office tower in Houston's Energy Corridor submarket, was held on Thursday. The physical construction of the new building started nearly a month ago. Scott Bryant of Houston-based Mac Haik Realty LLC said that the tower is being constructed on a speculative basis.

The new 17-story tower is the third building in the Energy Plaza project. The 450,000-square-foot building will receive Gold LEED certification and is expected to be completed in January 2014. For the full story, go to Houston Business Journal .
