HONOLULU-Real Estate Alert reported that Maxxam Enterprises, an investment firm based in Beverly Hills, California, is selling a beachfront site in Southwest Maui. The company has tapped Chicago-based Jones Lang LaSalle to sell the property.
The 27-acre site, located at 575 S. Kihei Road, currently houses Aston Maui Lu, a 120-room hotel. It is expected to fetch approximately $68 million. Permits are already given for the construction of 388 two-bedroom units on the site. For the full story, go to Pacific Business News .
